Noodle Box Calamvale - Forest Lake

I ordered the 2 for $44.95 deal, which included a medium-sized meal, drinks, sides, and prawn crackers. The portion size was generous, especially the fried rice with Japanese chicken. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The rice was mushy and the chicken was overly crispy, with some parts being inedible. Unfortunately, this is the third time that I have not enjoyed a meal here, so I will not be returning.

We live in the area and have gone here three times. Twice now we have gotten meals missing key ingredients. Honey soy chicken without honey, lemon chicken without even a slight taste of lemon and worst of all ordered 2 pork buns and got given a pork bun and a half. So disappointing in everyone who works there.

Fast food place, not a bad menu and food was well cooked, had the prawn noodle with some satay sticks.

I've always bought their Japanese Crispy Chicken with Egg Rice as the servings was alway well worth the price. I hadn't been in for a while and went in last night to find the box size has changed and now fits in the palm of my hand and it was no taller than the lengt of my thumb! Portion size has gotten so much smaller that I finished the rice after about 5 spoonfuls and then ate my chicken pieces. Still friendly service but sadly that won't fill my stomach.

Went for takeaways and ordered Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng. Both were inedible. The Nasi Gorengwas mostly very dark brown rice with a couple of prawns and a few bits of ?pork. It tasted revolting and was not like any version of this dish we have had elsewhere had to throw it out. The Mee Goreng was also disgusting not sure what flavour/spice was used but had to throw this out as well. At $14.94 each it was a total waste. Will not be going back.
