We got the Adana set the lahmucan aswell as the Turkish tea and Turkish coffee which was served with a lil piece of Turkish delight. The service was nice our waitress was sweet and friendly. It has both indoor and outdoor seating that is heated and it was warm and cozy despite it snowing outside. I would go back for the Turkish coffee which was delicious and creamy!
Stopped on our way to JFK with our two kids. Meant to go to another restaurant that turned out to be closed so walked down the street and randomly saw OBA that looked inviting. Long story short we got the most fantastic meal! The mixed grill was such an interesting and fun dish to share and the baby okras were delicious. We will be back next time we have time before a flight out of JFK.
I had lunch here a few times. I usually order their calamari salad and a kebab platter. Food is fresh and delicious. Service is ok, service can be inconsistant when they are busy.
This is probably one of the worst restaurants on the Austin strip. I’ve tried Oba several times and each time it has been disappointing. They get my order wrong each time and put no effort into fixing it. The food I receive is almost always stale and tastes as if it’s been sitting out for awhile. I just watched the person pack my order and he was literally throwing things aggressively into the paper bag as if he was serving dogs. The meat was cold and stale. I hate this place. After several chances I will not be returning.
Very good. Mediterranean style food. Don't be in a hurry because everything is made fresh. This meal did in fact feed all four of us very well. Served hot and delicious. All in, about $20 per person.
