Les Cigales - Fontcouverte-la-Toussuire

We have been wanting to try that place out for a while and we are very disappointed. We arrived from the pistes and had nowhere to put our skies. Other clients had their skies planted into the snow so we did the same. The snow path down to the terrace was very slippery and dangerous. One person did slip. We asked for a table and the waiter made a joke that there was no more room. Not a good imagine to start with. Arrived at the table no one welcomed us and suggested some drinks. Two tables who arrived after us was however served. We must have waited 30min before someone came to us. Everything was very long and took a long time. The one star was for the food which was nice.

Been sitting here in the sunshine for over 45 minutes waiting to be given a menu for lunch. We’re watching people arrive and wonder if they too will get served before nightfall. We’re not overly surprised however because we saw the waiter last night propping up the bar of a local bistro… and strangely enough, he doesn’t recognise us. In the meantime, we’re enjoying the sunshine while waiting for the waiter to give us a menu, set the table and take our order….

Lovely restaurant just on the slopes easy access for skiers and non skiers. Excellent service with very pleasant staff. 7 adults all had excellent food ,tasty and varied menu.

We come here, we return to it, family, couple, friends, for the awakening..... Welcome as friends by jean and christella and their team. The kitchen is excellent, varied .the quality ratio is quite honorable.

Excellent! nothing to say warm atmosphere and beautiful landscape. For 2 years we've come to the cough and it's an appointment we'd miss for nothing in the world. little more: I recommend the crust of the alpages, a real treat
