La Calle - Folsom

The food here is the best Mexican I have ever had! The two owners are super, really the whole crew is. The food is always constantly good. The drinks are great and they use the best liquor. You will always feel at home here.

I recently had a delightful dining experience that included a Carne Asada Burrito, a Pulled Beef Burrito, Carne Asada Fries, Chips and Salsa, and Elotes. One of the burritos is so large that it could easily be shared between two people. It also includes a small side of avocado salsa, which is a lovely addition. I absolutely adore their fries topped with carne asada; they are so tasty that I could enjoy them on their own without any additional toppings. The chips and salsa were also delicious, and the elotes were just as flavorful. The service was outstanding. I was welcomed and seated right away, even on a Tuesday night around 8 PM. Our waitress checked on us often without being intrusive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

I've been to this restaurant twice, with a few months in between, and both experiences were fantastic. I especially loved their carnitas, which were cooked perfectly to my taste.

The food at this restaurant is truly exceptional! Whether you're in the mood for authentic cross-border flavors or a creative take on a Mexican classic, this spot has it all! The service was remarkable and impressively fast, especially given how busy it was. I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. The drinks were amazing, especially the mango jalapeño margarita! While the draft beer selection is limited, it covers all the essentials needed to complement some delicious Mexican cuisine.
