Opting for the half-and-half broth is a clever choice — it really does give you the best of both worlds. Personally, I enjoy cooking my food in the spicy broth while sipping on the milky one. Trust me, your stomach will appreciate it! Both broths are infused with herbs and spices that provide a deep, rich flavor. The ingredients are always fresh here. The sauces at the sauce station are fairly basic, since the broth's aromas are already quite robust. Located in the heart of Flushing, the restaurant features a modern interior with a cozy atmosphere. They have cubbies at the seats for you to store your belongings so they don’t take on any odors. However, a word of caution: the ventilation could be a concern for those sensitive to the smell of lamb.
We really miss the all-you-can-eat experience at Little Lamb. The price-to-quality ratio at Happy Lamb isn't great. Each person tends to spend around $50 just to have enough food. The flavors are decent, but nothing really stands out, especially the spicy broth, which wasn't spicy at all. The service was pleasant, but given the cost, it would be nice if they offered some complimentary desserts like ice or fruit.
This place is absolutely fantastic! You really get your money's worth. The atmosphere is wonderful, and it just feels great to dine here. The service is exceptional; the staff frequently check on your table, and I didn't even notice when my empty plates were cleared away. I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try!
Excellent bus stop in Flushing! It was my first hot pot. The staff was friendly. We had a 20-minute waiting time when we came in because the place was so busy, but they are very fast and efficient. The food was all fresh and amazing. We had lamb, chicken and fish. You can add what you want. Overall a very satisfying experience. Will definitely come back!
Best go-to spot in flushing. Almost no wait. Attentive and friendly service. Fresh ingredients. Split soup for spicy and regular, cucumber garlic appetizer, beef tripe, shrimp paste, can’t go wrong with lamb and/or beef, mushroom platter, pumpkin, and 1-2 green leaf vegetables. Herbal tea is optional. Everything comes out to $20-25 per person.
