There's often a line at the Flushing Ice Cream Factory, but it moves quickly. We ordered two bowls of black sesame and taro ice cream. The server was very generous and filled our bowls to the brim with both flavors. The black sesame ice cream is likely the best I've ever had. The taro was good too, but a bit on the sweet side. I also tried the egg cake here, but my friends didn't think it tasted much like egg cake.
It's great to see the beloved Chinatown Ice Cream Factory now in Downtown Flushing. If you’re in the area and craving some creamy ice cream with classic Asian fruit flavors, it's definitely worth a visit. I tried the Durian and Lychee flavors in a double waffle cone. Unfortunately, the durian didn't have the strong taste and smell I was expecting, but the lychee was fantastic! Just a heads up: make sure to bring some extra cash, as they only accept cash payments after your main course.
The ice cream was amazing! I had the ginger and pandan flavors, and they paired perfectly together. They were out of green tea when I visited, but I look forward to trying it next time. The young man who served the ice cream was really friendly and patient while handling a long line of customers. He definitely deserves great tips!
Nice little place. They have different flavors. I chose rainbows and Matcha. It was also very delicious people. I recommend! *They have no internal or external seats. Get out!
