Tumbleweed Tex Mex Grill - Floyds Knobs

I ordered takeout on line. Order was ready. The Spare Ribs were so salty all through the meat, not just the top. They were edible but unlikely to return to this restaurant. The sides were mediocre at best. If it had been earlier in the evening I would have returned both meals!

Love the potato skins, taco salad, beef burrito enchilada style, chili con queso, apricot salsa (they aren't going to serve it anymore-what a shame), happy hour (recently changed from half-price to 30% off), and 99cent margaritas on Mondays. Oh, and they used to serve a delicious dressing for your salad that I think was called Calypso dressing. Wish they would bring that back. Someone said they thought it was ranch dressing with bbq sauce mixed in.

Got carry out last night. It was a Saturday after 5 so I knew there would be a wait. I worked in food service for over 30 years and I know the drill. The lady in front of me was a complete a hole but that has nothing to do with my wonderful service and delicious dinner. They we're working their butts off in the kitchen. Great job.

When did they change their queso recipe? Tumbleweed is definitely not the same restaurant it used to be when I was a kid, but one thing I could always rely on was the queso tasting the same. That’s no longer the case. I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch or if this is now the new recipe, but what I had tonight didn’t taste like Tumbleweed queso at all. I'm really disappointed about that.

Picked up carry out today. Unfortunately it was a bust. They forgot to add our queso to the order and of course we were too far away to go back. Then when we opened our beef burrito deluxe it was the smallest saddest burrito we've ever seen we had two dinners. We paid 40 and tipped , what we normally seen. When we called we talked to someone who wasn't really willing to do anything then left a message for mgr but he never returned the call. Deserved a credit. Pricing and quantity did not match. Saddens me that tumbleweed is now off my list.
