A staple for the whole county. Not much in prepared foods. The ones I find there are mostly fancy chocolates with a fancy price. However, the bulk bins are priced within reason. They carry many vitamins and special order is not a problem. Customer service is fantastic when you can get someones attention. I would suggest doing away with the over priced children's section and bringing in more organic local produce, which IS readily available. Overall, a good place to find things in county available NO WHERE else generally advertised or on street front. If you do come to our great county, I suggest trying the ever changing restaurant above the store. Currently, I believe it is serving whole meals. Best food in town is hands down, Mickeys Italian. We inquired about vegan options here and were told the rice had butter so we could sub quinoa in the General Tso’s Cauliflower. They also have wraps and salads and the server mentioned tofu.
Now known as Parkway Grill, this restaurant offers some vegan options. The hummus wrap is delicious and is vegan as it comes.
I would recommend shifting away from some of the overpriced items aimed at families and instead focus on featuring more organic, locally sourced products that are readily available. Overall, it's a good place to discover items in our county that aren't typically advertised or readily accessible. If you're visiting our vibrant district, I'd suggest checking out the restaurant that frequently updates its menu, rather than solely shopping at the store. They offer full meals, and hands down, the best food in town is at Mickey's Italian. This review was updated on Tuesday, May 20, 2014.
