Shipley Donuts - Flowood

The best place for donuts!!! When I go, I go early in the morning at 5:30 and ask for my fresh and hot and they make sure I get them! When I go there, I come to Brandon to bring them to my father because they are his favorite and he likes them hot and they are still hot when I go to his house! We lived in Clinton and always went there and loved her!! Now we both live in Brandon, so let's go to Flowood!! Your donuts literally melt in your mouth!!! Now we only need a Shipley in downtown Brandon!!!

Real donuts! Glazed are medium brown with soft but essential body and a cracked glaze. No half-boiled slimmers here. Beignets are slightly lighter than Cafe Du Monde, but excellent.

Excite!... Another great idea connects the Flowood area. The few other donut shops in the area are decent, but when it comes to Shipleys, I think fresh, sweet, light, fluffy and a welcome look. The large new building offers you the opportunity to see the pastries in production behind the tempered glass. The cinnamon roll and the original glazed donut are my favorites, now! This can change at my next 2-3 visits.

What a fantastic little donut shop! The lady behind the counter was cheerful and quick. The donuts were fluffy, and the coffee was hot. My day got off to a wonderful start!

The staff here is incredibly friendly and the service is quick, even during my busy visit on a Sunday morning. I only intended to get four donuts, but the cashier convinced me to get a half dozen for just a few cents more—great sales tactic! The interior was very clean and much more modern compared to my usual spot. There’s plenty of space to sit down and enjoy your food. I don’t come this far south often, but I’ll choose Shipley’s whenever I can, and this location definitely stands out!
