Great American Cookies - Flowood

Walked in and all 3 employees were preoccupied. I appreciate the young man greeting me. None of the employees had on masks. Very disappointing to see this business not adhering to the mask mandate and we're in a Pandemic! That said, I see why the Covid-19 numbers/cases here are high! Disappointed.??

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, as I work nearby and have always enjoyed the food. However, the previous owners recently sold the business and ever since, my experience has been disappointing. The new owners have made changes that have drastically lowered the quality of the food and service. As a result, my coworkers and I now only visit the restaurant once a week, whereas we used to come several times a day.

My grandson absolutely loved the birthday cookie cake, it was the best!

Earlier today, my wife and I visited this restaurant as we were craving something sweet. The establishment had a pleasant appearance and ambiance. The young lady who served us cookies was very polite, but her older white co-worker treated me disrespectfully. I felt uncomfortable as the only black person in the store, as she looked at me with disdain and was reluctant to assist me when it was time to pay. My wife, who is also part Caucasian, noticed the same behavior before I mentioned it. We are new to the area, having recently relocated from Michigan to Mississippi. This experience was deeply hurtful and we have decided not to patronize this restaurant again. I felt insulted and disrespected by the treatment I received.

This review is not a review of this specific location but of the company itself. I have been trying to contact customer service support for over a week about an issue and they are ignoring all forms of communication and it's honestly just disappointing. I'd rather never deal with this company again
