Chili's Grill - Flowery Branch

I had almost given up on chili's and then we found this location! It's so much better than the one we usually go to. The food is phenomenal and the staff is utterly amazing. I don't mind driving 20 minutes out of the way to come here! This place is worthit!

Had to give two stars even though food was good. Service was quick and wait staff pleasant. However, we will not dine here again. At 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon we found the restaurant to be quite dirty. Sticky floor under the entire bar that lookedlike drinks had been spilled but never cleaned. Floors were also littered with paper, napkins, dirt. Front door was extremelydirty as were the partitions between booths. There was also an unpleasant odor that smelled like old, rancid oil. Discouraged mefrom ordering fries. Clearly no one has cleaned the restaurant in quite a long time.

The first thing that caught my attention was the sticky floor. A restaurant should never have sticky floors. Additionally, the salt in the shaker was a solid block, which suggests some serious maintenance issues. As for the food, the burger was well done, but the server didn’t inquire about my preferred cooking level. Perhaps they only serve them well done; who knows? I also find using those payment terminals unappealing, considering that 96 other people have touched them in the past day. Maybe I'm just being a bit grumpy.

My husband and I used to absolutely love this restaurant and would dine there at least 2-3 times a month. However, a couple of months ago, something changed. We ordered delivery, and the food was terrible. The manager on duty was nice enough to refund our money, for which we are grateful. We decided to give them another chance yesterday. While the food was decent this time, we found that some items were missing and there was hair in our salsa. We're quite disappointed with our last two experiences and will probably not return.

I ordered the cilantro lime carne asada, and it came with just four small strips of steak. I mentioned this to the staff at Chili's so they could work on improving their service. The server was very considerate and offered to add more steak, even though I insisted it was fine. I just wanted to bring it to their attention for the benefit of other customers. To be honest, this isn't a restaurant I would usually visit on my own—I'm here because I was with someone who enjoys places like Chili's, Olive Garden, and TGI Friday.
