Celano's Family Pizzeria - Florissant

The staff was incredibly friendly and exceeded all expectations. The pizza was perfectly cooked, and both the Western and Patriots varieties were delicious. I appreciated how the condiments were thoughtfully placed in a separate container rather than directly on the burger to keep it fresh. The salads are also the best in town! You can't go wrong with the pastas and salads here. I will definitely order again. Thank you for such a wonderful meal!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. It's not the same as it used to be at Cecil's. I strongly recommend against trying this restaurant. The food was awful. I paid $11 for fried mushrooms—almost a dollar each—and they were soggy and undercooked. The pizza had burnt spots on the bottom. The hot wings I ordered were decent, but they arrived without ranch dressing, which you have to pay extra for. We were confused about that when we ordered. When I called to discuss the issue, the woman on the phone shouted at me, insisting I bring the food back to get a 50% refund. Did she really not believe me? Regardless, we will never eat here again.

The pizza at this restaurant is truly fantastic. It's a charming little spot with friendly staff and some seriously delicious food. On my first visit, I ordered the meat lover’s pizza, which was amazing. On my second visit, I opted for the same pizza but without speck and sausage, as I’m not a big fan of overly salty flavors. The pizza had a delightful char on the crust, giving it a nice crunch. Everything else I tried from the menu was excellent as well. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for a great local pizza or some beloved Italian classics.

2 large pizzas and cheese garlic bread ordered for delivery at 4 pm on Sunday. I said it was 45 minutes an hour. I then called at 5.25 because we had not received our order yet. I was told it was for delivery. We live less than 5 minutes away. Called again at 5:45 and asked to speak to a manager as we had not received our order yet. I was told that the manager was busy and that she would call me back. I left my name and called the number back. My husband called at 6:10. No pizza yet and no call from the manager. They offered to restore our order 2 hours and 15 minutes after my original order. We canceled the order and told them to refund our money. Then we went somewhere else to get food. In the 20 minutes we were gone, the pizza was delivered. My son was home at that time and didn't know we canceled the order. He took the pizza from the driver and said when he opened the box, the pizza was cold. This is not the first time I had problems with this place as they became Celano's. This will be the last time we order from them.

We like to get thin crust pizza at Celano's. They have a family deal that comes with 2 extra large pizza's, garlic bread and chef salad. A solid deal for pizza that's meaty with a decent salad.
