There's one dedicated vegan burrito on the menu. It's stuffed with these falafel-type balls. I found them good but not good enough to keep me coming back. The guacamole was third rate. Tasted like it was out of a jar. Tortilla chips were fine but not amazing. That said, if you like the burrito you're in luck because it's large and very filling. Note: they also have a vegetarian burrito on the menu. So far the good vegan cheese hasn't made it to Florianópolis. There's no Violife, Follow Your Heart or Chao here. Their vegan cheese tastes like air so I won't fault the restaurant for not carrying it.
I got the combo with tortilla chips and it was plenty of food, I could only eat everything because I was wearing elastic pants. They swap the dairy sauce for guacamole if you order the vegan burrito and they seem to know what vegan actually means. Service was great, I only wish there were more vegan options. That’s why I can’t give them 5 stars.
The moochacho is a beautiful Burrito dinner. they specialized in burritos as main courses so that they meet their choice between three burritos. I took the california with the bark. but I almost had that with chicken, the pollo, but for the Burrito experience it is better to have it with bark. by the way, there are also veggie burrito. the place itself is beautiful and concentrated on students that it is located in trindade, floripas main student district. the burrito was tasty and well portioned and there are even special offers when they order a next dish (like tortilla chips) together with their burrito to get a better rice than order it separately. the interieur is beautiful and colorful, the staff is friendly and willing to help, and it is also nice to spend a past on the terrace of the moochacho. by floripa with love! dr. immanuel fruhmann
Where do I start? I love this restaurant so much. Not sure if there is something similar in all Brazil, but surely it is unique in Florianopolis. Whenever I go there, I get the “cheers” vibe. “A place where everyone knows his name.” Not sure if the Brazilian people would understand this reference. Most people who come to this place are certainly regular. The service is top notch with most service employees speak English in addition to Portuguese. If you ever get the chance to meet the owners, they are three big guys I think are Brazilian success stories. Two restaurants a karaoke bar, I mean, they inspire me. Eating smart, it's great. I usually get the California Burrito, but have got the chicken burrito before also very satisfied. Although I don't live in the city, I'm sure they have bands playing there and Tacos events don't have on the menu. The only reason for 5 stars is that there are no more stars to give. Thank you for the great memories and hope for coming for many more years, Baby J
