Wholly Smokin' Downtown - Florence

Eating was really good. After waiting for me to eat for 30 minutes, I got cold food. how? my man and I are confused how to eat at a grill place for so long. 3 stars because eating is actually good. deductions for ollygagging kitchen staff.

My brisket was excellent and the collards were some of the best I'd ever had. My wife raved about her chicken and tried to find out if she could get their recipe for the baked beans. They also have an extensive selection of local craft beers.

Wholly Smokin’ cooked the food for our family reunion brunch this weekend. It was AWESOME. From working with Jackie on menu planning to the last tasty bite, it was a wonderful experience. My family raved about the BBQ and baked beans and the macaroni and cheese. Okay, all of it. And ohhh, the banana pudding. I put one bite in my mouth and then promptly hid the other big container to take back to Richmond. I sent some over to my MIL. She just called and said I need to drive back to Florence tomorrow and get some more. Wish I could. THANK YOU ALL.

This was our first time going here. EVERYTHING was delicious! Service was great. Definitely recommend!

Nothing fancy about this, just good food. The brisket sandwich was excellent, as was the chicken salad sandwich. Not that I expect to be back in Florence any time soon, but I sure wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.
