Palmetto Subs - Florence

This restaurant continues to permit customers to place orders at the pickup window, causing delays for those who are waiting for their orders to be prepared. You wouldn't be allowed to do that at Grouchos; they would send you away. I called in my order, which is how you're supposed to use the pickup window, but I still had to wait behind three cars that were allowed to order at the window. While the food is decent, it's not worth the hassle. I'll be looking for another sub shop.

The customer service needs major improvement. I was not greeted in a friendly manner and the employees made me feel really uncomfortable while placing my order. I ended up throwing my food in the trash because I didn't trust eating it after I was madeto feel that uncomfortable by the employees. Very poor customer service.

The customer service was satisfactory, but unfortunately, the steak and cheese sub I ordered was terrible. The steak had an unpleasant taste, and the bread was extremely tough. I can't believe I wasted my money on that. The only redeeming aspect of my meal was the two pickles that came on the side.

You all, the staff works incredibly hard there. There's always someone, if not several people, present when I visit. Let me tell you, the salad and subs are phenomenal. I also appreciate the friendly and welcoming staff. It’s an excellent choice!

They made me a delicious cheese and veggie sub that was far better than what you'd find at any national chain. The staff was really friendly too!
