Microtel Inn Suites - Florence

Was very convenient to have an airport shuttle. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and well trained.

If I could give it a zero I would on all areas! The rooms were gross and I had reserved 3 so it wasn’t just an off room! One room had the smoke detector ripped out of the ceiling and clearly so it could be smoked in because it smelled bad! It me room has food left in the fridge and dirt all over the walls and dead bugs on the bed! The tiles in the bathroom all broken the bathroom door wouldn’t latch! So much wrong to even list!

For less than 70.00 a night, it's definitely priced for what you get

Don 't Do it! Even if you are thinking Well, it 's just one night... it is Absolutely Disgusting. I can 't stress enough to not go here. They will get you with the pictures. The smell was horrendous. It Says it is Smoke Free and all the doors have no smoking signs on them but honestly if it was just cigarettes that would have been better than what it smells like. WHEN We got to our room (Check in was at 3pm but she said our room wasn 't ready. We didn 't get our room until 5:30. So, we were not able to have dinner with friends like we were suppose to, we were in TERRIBLE traffic because we got going so late and THEN missed the beginning of the Reds game that we were there for. it was like a moldy/ mildew smell but worse. When we went to the desk to ask for a different room I was told they were already over booked as it was and had no rooms available. (Yeah you 're over booked! Because I bet half the people that get there leave after seeing their room! She said she could cancel our reservation and That was our option. She was going to send a house keeper up to reclean the room. I told her that it smelled like maybe the filters on the A/C needed cleaned. After making us wait 40 minutes we get up there and they litterly did nothing. I heard her telling the housekeeper something about it and she said, It 's summer! They are going to get like that! I don 't care what time of year it is if you know it 's going to be like that, then clean it. We ended up taking the filters out and cleaning them ourselves. I attached a before and after. It was hard with the angle but you can see where you can see the bed through the screen that 's the clean one. I had two 17 year olds with us so we were supposed to get rooms next to each other. Plus we had another family with us. 3 rooms total and they put us each on different floors. My daughter 's room never had a key that worked, which there were at least 3 others with the same problem. The guy at the desk had to come up with an actual key to open the door. I 'm pretty sure people live there. One of the doors upstairs on the third floor had actual summer sign on it like somebody was decorating their door to their apartment. There were multiple rooms that had dogs in them because you could hear them barking. It was terrible ALL THE WAY AROUND. No Discount or refund because it said Non-refundable no exceptions . I thought that no exceptions was just for a reasoning on my end I didn 't realize it was for their NEGLIGENCE.

This is by far the absolute worse hotel I’ve ever been in.No hot water, no WiFi which ment not TV, because they were all set up on WiFi. Shady people hanging in the lobby. Front desk attended in sleep pajamas. Breakfast attendant was in a tank top.
