Jerry's Place And Grill - Florence

My husband and I visited the city and were thrilled to try something small and local for dinner. Unfortunately, I ended the food poisoning. My fish tasted it frozen and then fried deep in 3 cups of oil and my salad looked out and tasted like a bag from the discount aisle in a grocery store. My husband ordered chili, which tasted like it came from a can that was heated in a microwave. The service was great, the bartender was very friendly and friendly. The atmosphere was what you expected for a small bar. The music was funny and the people were friendly! The food was very bad. Could be fun if you're beating, but not eating.

The bar tender was pleasant enough. But the food that costs 4star is only 2. And that was said. Here's a photo of this order. That's a order of fries!

To go baked clams. Not only were the strips slightly burned (dark brown), but I couldn't find a real mussel! Maybe the kitchen was busy, but still they can do better than that.

This was our second visit to Jerry's Place. Nice outdoor seating area with heating when it gets cool. The cod and chips were great. Beautiful pub near Driftwood Shores Resort.

A great Bar Grill a little off the beaten path. The bar tender was super nice and a little funny. Had kind of a Kat Dennings vibe going. Fish sandwich was great and just the right portion for a late lunch. The fries were perfect crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Okay selection of tap beers. Nice patio seating. Dogs are welcomed on the patio but you must bring them through the side gate only.
