I was so excited to go back, unfortunately, when I had a completely different experience. an older woman last time took my order over the phone and grabbed me that she wouldn't check if any ding could be vegan or vegan. we have a few things we knew were safe, of course all kind dishes. at the lower end of a karton there was a single piece of hugging that was apparently set to purpose there. I guess it’[censored] or miss when they are helpful with someone or treat someone rudely, but I won’t go back after that. three stars because I really liked it the first time.
Authentic options. better than her average Chinese food. not greasy, good atmosphere.
I have eaten in the great wall often over the last decades, and it has always chosen my taste for what vegan Chinese dish I chose. the locally produced fresh vegetables are excellent, and the gourmet menu options are so good, although the regular menu options are also very satisfying. the Saturday's dim is a tasty bite, and the servers can always inform which dishes are vegan. sometimes the initial service is slow after sitting at the table, but eating comes fast and hot. this is also a favorite of the family and friends with mixed diets, from gluten-free vegan to those who love the non-veg sections of the menus.
Authentic options. Better than your average Chinese food. Not greasy. Good atmosphere.
I love Great Wall! You have done all American Chinese foods you expect, fresh and tasteful and better than most. But what she really puts above the top is the gourmet/authentic menu. Aubergine and pork dishes make them particularly good, also noodles. I finally got her pig roasted rice- delicious! Friendly staff and Clara just proposed an excellent Italian wine to go with her food. Happy New Year, Big Wall!
