Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Florence

I travel up and down the East Coast, and whenever I'm in South Carolina, I always make it a point to visit this restaurant at least once. The staff are welcoming and creative, and I absolutely love the food. There's a fantastic selection to choose from. Currently, they are making some repairs to the place, and they seem to be a bit short-staffed. However, the team remains patient and friendly, which definitely makes up for any shortcomings. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Had the three meat plate (Sliced Brisket, Chicken, Sausage) and two sides (Bohnen, Spinat) The staff was so friendly! The meat was excellent! The pages were good!

Yes, yes and yes. This is a must when you come across the area! Ribs were excellent!! And pulled pork, tender and tasteful. Rich portions, baked beans are unique and packed with local taste! Thank you for a great palette experience!

Every time I’m in SC I will be at Dickey’s. PeriodT. The chef was so personable as he was right there when we ordered. Staff is friendly or maybe that’s just that down south charm. However that’s the type of hospitality I wish for in all my service encounters. Anyways the food and sauces are delicious. I found myself making extra to go sauces, it was that good. FREE ice cream while you wait. Clean tables, floors, and bathroom. I don’t have a pic of the food cause I ate it, worth the wait. I have my yellow cup though.
