Location to come down. Everything perfect. White wine was a bit too warm and waitress was alone for a full outdoor area. Recommended at any time. Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Flammkuchen
We came for dinner with 6 people. The restaurant was half occupied, but due to the bad weather, the inside of the dining room was quickly filled. Access to the restaurant is really a dream. The beautifully landscaped outdoor area shortens the waiting time in the most pleasant way. After our failure at El Cid II in Brühl, we were actually allowed to order the food we wanted, without comment, just as it should be. We had a pinsa with parma and the vitello tonnato for starters. For the main course we ordered the Viennese and the sweet potato aubergine tartare. For dessert we chose the vineyard peach sorbet. Various pinsa, beef cheeks and homemade bread dumplings with mushrooms were eaten at the table. The service was supported by the owner, who is very warm and hospitable towards the guests. The service here is not yet well-established and in this suddenly occurring situation (all guests save themselves from the thunderstorm inside) reached its limits, but our waiter got the orders under control and the kitchen recovered. Good shopping. The quality of the food is right and everything from the plates and furniture to the interior makes a very good impression. However, the food offers room for improvement. The selection has relatively little sophistication. All dishes are fresh, neatly prepared and taste good. One wishes for a little more courage with the spices and for the menu more reference to the wine/winery. Including the wines in the dishes might be an idea. However, the prices are official. In the end we had to settle a bill of 120 euros (incl. tip) for 2 people. Conclusion: We'll be happy to stop by again and see how this restaurant develops. In summer it is definitely a real tip and an enrichment for the region. Worth mentioning: Our dog, over 60kg and 73cm tall, was given a warm welcome, as was we. Vegetarian options: Two vegetarians at the table found several dishes Parking: We all found parking on the premises Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome and belong there Wheelchair accessibility: The guest room can be reached at ground level
