Rubens Coffee - Flintshire

Located on Mold High Street, Rubens Coffee is a bustling spot, especially on market days. It is the perfect place to seek refuge and enjoy a coffee and snack. One dreary December morning, my wife and I stopped by for a hot drink. I ordered a bacon sandwich which was filled with crispy bacon slices, while my wife enjoyed a toasted tea cake with a generous spread of butter. Despite most indoor seats being occupied, it was surprising to see more customers sitting outside at tables in the nearby alleyway on a winter day. It was nice to see that customers had the option to sit indoors or outdoors.

The tables at this restaurant are not cleaned thoroughly or effectively. Despite staff clearing tables around us, the surfaces were not actually wiped down. The drinks were good and hot, but the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was lacking given the number of staff present.

Nice toastie and then coffee came and wasn't to their usual standard which wasn't very hot in the past usually pretty good

Really nice little coffee shop, the service is always great the staff are beyond lovely, they can't do enough for you and they make fantastic coffee! And the cakes are really lovely too. Definitely worth a visit, especially on a market day!
