Stopped by Alexander’s for a pizza whilst in Mold for the weekend and have to say the food was excellent. Arrived with two children and whilst no dedicated kids menu, they were happy to accommodate a half and half adults pizza for them to share. Food was made really quickly, despite the restaurant being quite full, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend the pizzas themselves and the side of tomato dipping sauce was an especially nice touch. Would highly recommend and will stop by again next time I’m in Mold.

My partner and I enjoyed pizza and desserts on a Saturday evening. He had the Sam Gamgee (mushroom) and I had a Hawaiian with mushrooms. The pizzas are a generous size. We hadn't eaten lunch so we managed a whole pizza each, but I wasn't surprised to see others taking leftovers home. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are. Perfectly cooked in a stone pizza oven, which is also fun to watch from your table. The atmosphere was relaxed, cosy and comfortable. The service was excellent. We had a waffle and an affogato for dessert which was also lovely. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. We were staying near Trelogan but couldn't anywhere else in the area that did proper stonebaked pizza. Alexander's was exactly what we were looking for. We'll be recommending it in the guest book at the Airbnb we're staying in.

We cannot recommend Alexander’s enough. We don’t stop thinking about having one, if only we could eat Alexander’s pizza every day! This is the best pizza you will ever have, trust me. Craig and his wife are ace and just so down to earth. We’ve been to Italy and nothing tops this. Please never sell up and keep Alexander’s going forever! We couldn’t shout about this anymore to everyone we know.
