Mad Mary's Steak House - Flandreau

An OUTSTANDING find in a small town! From the minute we entered we were treated to excellent service and BEAUTIFUL river views! We went several times while we were in town and every meal was AMAZING! Nice selection of beer including some craft choices. Treat yourself and head to MAD MARY'S you'll be so glad you did!

It was all fine. It was cooked the way we ordered. Service was good. The food just didn't have a lot of flavor. The beans had the most flavor. I would go back if friends wanted to go there. But i won't make a special trip like this was for us.

I was there on Mother's Day and we had to wait awhile cause it was so busy. We waited in the bar side amd they had a chocolate fountain with fruit and cheese which was awesome! So we had a drink and helped ourselves to the chocolate fountain for an appetizer while we waited. It really helped pass the time. It was worth the wait.The food was delicious! And the service was great. Worth going there again. Thanks Mad Mary's for a wonderful Mother's Day meal.

Top notch dining experience. The local beer was good and refreshing, the food was great and plentiful while the services was just as great. We will definitely be stopping in again sometime.

We drove 30 miles for dinner at Mad Mary's. Was not worth the trip. We had bacon wrapped tenderloin done mdm rare. My husband had fetucinni with his meal and a cup of soup. He said soup was really good, fettuccine was dry (he couldn't eat) and steak was overdone and dry. My tenderloin was good, mixed rice was OK and the salad was mostly croutons with a few pieces of wilty, iceberg lettuce. Service was lacking. When the food arrives you better ask for a drink refresheror whatever you need because the waiter will only come back when it is obvious you are waiting for the bill. Note: you pay at the bar. The server didn't tell us that.
