Vila Algarve In Spr - Flamingo Heights

Was visiting my sister in Vegas for my nephew's graduation, and had dinner there May 22nd, with my family, and it was AMAZING! The owner was so friendly and engaging, so kind and made us feel at home immediately! The service from start to finish was fantastic, and the food was more than we could have hoped for, as far as Portuguese style and even Mozambique style food all I can say is WOW! We started with Caldo Verde soup, and grilled chourico among other items, and these two were absolutely DELICIOUS! For our main course we tried a variety of dishes, curried prawns, grilled beef on a skewer, and several other dishes, and I was SO impressed at the quality of the food and service by the owner herself! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who misses eating Portuguese food, or to anyone who would like to try Portuguese food you will not be disappointed! This place is a GEM and I hope more locals will find it and keep on going!

Fantastic service. The owner really cares for her restaurants' presentation. The drinks were strong (bonus). Louisiana Chorizo sausage was fantastic. Prices a bit high but we didn't try the whole menu. The prices could very well be justified!

I love stumbling into places like this. Saw it and figured, Portuguese, yes. I was a little early, they don 't open till 4pm, but the owner said, come on in, you can be the First Customer of the day Most of the portions seemed to geared towards family, but saw what I wanted right away... some while question this, but only if you 've never eaten them...I order the Snails as a starter (only $8.99 for a dozen, as of 5/18) and a Greek Salad. Generally you went find Snail or Escargot outside of places requiring a tie, so this was a nice treat. They where not in a cream sauce, but rather a garlic butter, and I delighted in devouring them. Also, try the homemade Sangria, very mild, very good! I 'm sitting here now and I 've already decided I 'll be bring friends back and have a group dinner where we can really explore the menu. Great food, great service.

The owner's and staff are friendly! The food is excellent and they make their own homemade epic Sangria and there's a full bar and live entertainment.

I just had the best dinner at Villa Algarve. The ambiance is wonderful, open, clean with twinkling lights that add the atmosphere of romance. The owner is welcoming and delightful. You get the experience of dining in an elegant, European restaurant. Most of all, the food was wonderful! I ordered the Chicken Curry that was beautifully served with saffron rice laced with cooked, dices, fresh carrots, peas and parsley. The chicken was smothered in the most wonderful curry sauce I have ever tasted. To make matters even better, the owner is planning themed dance nights starting in February hosting local dance teachers to bring the crowd to the dance floor. A lovely dinner will turn into a social event. I plan to become a regular! You should too!
