Rendezvous - Flagstaff

What a great bar in a great location! The servers are attentive and welcoming sharing their favorites and their suggestions are a win! The Espresso Martini and Whiskey Chai (love the mug) for the win ?

We are Flagstaff locals, and love the ambiance of this place and the drinks, but this bar has some serious flaws with its process of reading and handling i.d’s. Not once but TWICE has this bar inconvenienced me and my family by taking my sisters i.d after their broken reader says the i.d is fake when it clearly is not. We have had to wait for the cops TWICE now for over 30 minutes on different occasions for them to come and return my sisters i.d to her because the bar staff are so incompetent. The first time this happened they said they would fix their computers, but they have not. Her i.d is from Montana so if you come visiting this place BEWARE.

Not a lot of breathing room, but very cool vibes about the place and always awesome service. You will probably have to wait a minute for your orders, but that's just because it's a popular spot.

Kelly makes the best smoked old-fashioned I have ever had. I asked her to make it with Woodford Reserve and it was fabulous.

They confiscated my legal I.D. and made me call the cops to retrieve it. Be careful if you're from out of town, it was not a friendly experience and they will hold your ishh hostage and risk your flight home. It took about an hour and 30 minutes for the cops to show up but luckily only slightly derailed our night. Seems like a great atmosphere but if you've had any I.D. issues in the past, it's definitely not worth the headache. They trust a computer to do the work and lack the nuance to even give it back after you call the cops. Security guard says it happens often. I get there's a college nearby but it seems like this place inconveniences a lot of tourists in the crossfire. I just wanted my espresso martini.
