Elsass - Fjerritslev

Check in was very welcoming. I wanted to have dinner, but the restaurant was full. She still managed to get me in for a session at a time I wanted, which I greatly appreciated. The room was OK, with a nice view of the surroundings and the sea far away. It was a few kilometers down to the beach, so I think maybe beach hotel is a bit of an exaggeration. The bed was comfortable and you slept well. Peace and quiet. It was also positive that the hotel had its own kitchen garden which was very nice. However, the check-out was cold and noticeably annoying, which will be my last and, sadly, the strongest impression of the stay. The person gave a very annoyed impression and mostly tried to get it over with. Don 't know if she was unsure because I spoke Swedish, but it doesn 't seem to be that unusual with Swedish guests. During this stay alone, there were several Swedish guests on site. I had wished that she appreciated me as a guest and was looking forward to a reunion, but she was most happy that I went, it felt like. This makes me hesitant to return here.

Nice food and good service.

Great hotel with a magnificent location overlooking the ocean on a hill. Lovely breakfast area and cozy outdoor area. Easy parking! Close to everything but still far enough away from the “city” buzz. However strange shower covering solutions and could have been a bigger room for a family.
