Przekaż informację zwrotnąI used to frequent this restaurant before Unico opened, and I absolutely loved it! I had been wanting to try Unico for a while now, and I was finally able to. I was truly impressed. The food was delicious, the wine was excellent, and the waitress was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and engaging. The prices were a bit high, and it was concerning to see only one other couple dining there on a Friday night. They just need to attract more customers and create a better atmosphere. There is so much potential here! I have seen this restaurant succeed before, and it is a really nice place. You guys can do it! I would definitely return. Hopefully, there will be more people next time.
My partner and I visited Unico last night on a whim, and it turned out to be the best restaurant experience we've had in a long time. The ambiance was beautiful and the food was wonderful. As someone who is quite particular about dining at Italian restaurants, I am often left disappointed. Unico, however, exceeded my expectations. The entrees and mains were delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food we received. We decided to try one of the specials, the stuffed zucchini flowers with truffle and cheese, which were out of this world. The crumbed stuffed olives were also amazing. For mains, we had the Saltimbocca and Carbonara, both of which were very traditional and reminded me of home-cooked meals. I appreciate when Italian restaurants stay true to their roots and don't cater to the 'aussie palate' by offering dishes like 'meat lovers' or 'hawaiian' pizza. I highly recommend Unico to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian cuisine. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for a truly wonderful dining experience. Sincerely, A very happy Italian.
This restaurant is not ideally located - its above Coles in Five Dock. It is however very clean with a modern Mediterranean decor and pleasant music playing in the background . The staff are in uniform and very attentive. There are some unusual but tasty and well presented dishes. For an entree we had a board of Italian antipasto and oven baked smoked mozzarella covered with thinly sliced prosciutto and finished with black truffle pasteFor our main we both had the pan fried pork loin rolls stuffed with pork sausage, Italian herbs and provolone cheese served with truffle purée and zucchini chips. This was followed by our desserts - white chocolate panna cotta served with homemade strawberry granita and toasted almonds. The wife had Fabio’s secret tiramisù. For wine we sampled the house red and white wines - very nice. This place is worth a visit.
Wanted a Italian seafood restaurant for mother's day lunch. Looked at NORMAL menu and was impressed so booked.Turned up.....put us 4 at a table for 2. Ok can handle this but then they had a 'special' mother's day menu..totally overpriced and without most of their NORMAL menu. Trying to be innovative but lost the plot. Was not advised of this. Not advised of changes and no apologies and the attitude was amazing. Won't be back.
The entree was very good, the main meal for 2 people was slow cooked beef belly was terrible, it was a piece of chewy meat between fat strips..not eatable and returned.
