IL Momento - FIVE DOCK

May be good coffee but when will barista's realize that lactose free milk is NOT soya or almond milk.

I eat here once a fortnight at least. The Staff are amazing and Coffee is one of the best in Five Dock. Prices are exceptional, I highly recommend the poached Eggs on toast.

As someone who has to have gluten free food and usually almond milk in my coffee, I have to hunt for cafes that meet my silly food requirements. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this gem of a place. I have seen some other reviews saying the service wasn't great and that baffles me as all the staff that I saw were friendly, approachable and accommodating. You also pay a really reasonable price for the food coffee so I can't see any issues here. Love place, pop in if you're in the area.

Saturday morning breakfast. First the coffee came to the table in take away cups. They remade them. Eggs and bacon took half an hour to come out- but were good. The stir fried mushroom dish- would have been ok if fresh mushrooms had been used. From the texture we suspect they were rehydrated; tough and tasteless.

The convenience of having a takeaway window is invaluable. It allows people passing by to easily order a coffee to take away without the inconvenience of going inside. Il Momento serves a very good coffee and also has a noteworthy special: a Red Bull and bacon and egg roll combo for only $10.50, which is a rare find.
