Enoteca Ostricheria - FIUMICINO

My wife found this on Trip Advisor, on our last night in Italy. We were on our way home and staying nearby. We went in for a glass and some oysters and ended up staying all evening. Paola, is so sweet and passionate about what she does. This is not traditional Italian, but it's all available. She has a love for great food and wine, regardless of where it's from. We had Iberico ham, pickled baby peaches, fresh sea urchin, and 24 oysters. The oysters were imported from France, and better than any I've had in the U.S. and Canada. We paired them with a Fume Blanc, and a cheap Chablis. Paola actually talked me into a lower priced wine that she thought would pair with the food better. She is a sweet, sweet lady, and made the last night in Italy a pleasure. I plan on visiting her establishment every time we leave Italy. And, be nice, because she loves nice people and rude people, won't fit in here. Ciao!

This is located on the main strip of restaurants in Fiumicino. There are a few tables outside, and more in a back room. The wine selection is good, and the prices even better.

Only the friendliness of the owner makes you change your mood. extremely prepared and of excellent quality. even against his interest brings you or does not bring you things and has products that are not even in the super restaurants. very nice place in front of the boats. We will definitely come back!

We are passionate about molluscs. oysters in particular. We traveled. but nowhere we have found the same quality competence the sympathy combined with fresh and fragrant glasses. Thanks paola.
