New Plymouth Club - Fitzroy New Zealand

We called in, just passing through. Found the staff friendly and very clean through out. Looks a good club to belong to.

Horrible people involved in the Committee, I feel sorry for the staff who have to deal with them. I wouldnt want to be a member here, its sad because it seems like a nice place.

Just popped in with two kids from out if town to meet friends, play pool and have some drinks and food. Wow. The most unwelcoming place in Nz After almost three weeks here. They opened the door about and inch, asked if we were members then told us to wait outside for a member to come and sign us in. Really? New Plymouth Club can't comments on facilities, food or drink as couldn't even get in the door to purchase a short term membership which is advertised on the sign at the front door. Body language of bar staff was go away not interested in letting you in or helping you in any way. Could have offered short term membership. Obviously staff training is required in hospitality industry service expectations.

Went for lunch as part of the ANZAC celebration with the RSA. Nice atmosphere, facilities, awesome views looking out to sea from the balcony, lovely food with quick service
