Tapatios Cocina Mexicana - Fitchburg

I had the huevos rancheros with corn tortillas for lunch and it was very good and very fresh. The service was very good too. Would definitely go again.

I travel very often so I always use yelp to try to find a spot for dinner. Came accross this place and it was about a mile away so I went in to order a to go order. 2 taco meal w a side of queso. I asked if the queso was white or yellow- was told white.... It 's yellow (which I don 't care for) I gave it a taste bc I paid $7 for it. It 's pretty salty... which carries throughout the rest of the meal. Chicken tacos are 'ok ' salty as well. Squeezing the lime really helped the meal. They also don 't sell bottled water which I thought was a little strange. It came with 3 side sauces. I didn 't try them bc I don 't like spice but that was nice. Overall seems like commercial Tex/Mex type food. Nothing authentic.

Met a couple of girlfriends here for what turned out to be the last summer night of the fall and happy to take advantage of Tapatio's outdoor space. While it was loud at times in the busy parking lot, it was great to be outside. The drink menu offered a Lavender Haze and I can't say no to Lavender! It was a good drink, and I especially liked the touch of the dehydrated lime as garnish. I went for the tacos plate and were i to do it again I would have made all of them the house made chorizo as that was definitely the star of the show. Greasy, but very flavorful. There's a big menu and I would likely try a burrito were I to go again. Our server was very kind and friendly. Guessing they do a brisk take out business with local residents and store employees!
