Hop Haus Brewing Company - Fitchburg

One of the best experiences I've had over all and by far in the madison and surrounding areas. Amazing bartenders with astounding knowledge and charming customer service. thanks to such excellent employees I will be going out of my way to pass up any other bar in the area to come back to enjoy this place.

THIEVES A friend and I went to hop house because she had a bad day. We each had two drinks and a pretzel. I Paid 43.00 dollars then gave the bartender a 20 dollar cash tip because I hadn’t been out in so long due to having a baby and was tipsy. I checked my bank statement and saw that they took it upon themselves to take another 13 dollars as a tip. I called and in the process of being refunded but at the end of the day they stole from me and I will be telling everyone I know. If I stole a 13.00 item from a store I would be arrested. The fact that you took advantage of someone like that is inexcusable.Make sure you check your bank account after coming here.

Our party of 5 came in on a Saturday night, we were quickly seated and greeted by our server. They were great with answering questions and providing options. The cheese curds were on point, crispy coating and squeaky cheese. The menu offers WI favorites while also providing several options like Falafel Platter which was really quite good and plentiful. The burgers were really good but thicker than what I would consider “smash” style. The chicken Caesar wrap was full and flavorful as well. The cauliflower tacos held a welcomed hit of heat. With the food menu being so varied and the beer menu offering a variety of tastes it will be a place we will go back again. If you are an IPA fan try Sweet Van, Bro.Vegetarian options: Several veggie options which was pleasant to see. Falafel, cheese curds, cauliflower tacos are all recommended as flavor packed.

I couldn't be happier with the service, our bartender Morgan referred us to some of the best beer I've ever tried. Not only was the service timely but it was also an enjoyable and great experience 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a good brewery to try.

I've tried Hop Haus a few different times hoping each time will be better than the last but it consistently misses the mark for me. It has a cool vibe but the food is mediocre and the service is subpar. I ordered at the bar and the bartender seemed disinterested in taking our order. The bartender asked us what we wanted to drink but wouldn't pour the drink until we gave them a card (which I thought was weird) and then they got our drink order wrong so we had to correct them. It was a weird interaction. We ordered a burger and a chicken wrap with fries and a salad as our sides. The burger and fries were just okay. The wrap was heavy on the red onion and fairly small. I observed a party that walked in and nobody acknowledged them all the servers and bartenders were more interested in talking with each other. I want to like Hop Haus and am glad others do, but it isn't for me.
