The English Inn - Fish Creek

AMAZING FOOD AND WAITSTAFF! WE ENJOY THIS PLACE VERY MUCH! Excellent every time! Never disappoints!!! I would give more stars if I could!

We had a wonderful meal last night at the English Inn in Fish Creek! The service was excellent and everything we had was absolutely delicious! The French Onion Soup was yummy, the Cherry Spinach Salad was scrumptious, the carrots were baked to perfection, and the Crab-stuffed Shrimp was perfect. The decor both inside and outside is very inviting and especially enjoyable outside on a summer evening. This is one place we would highly recommend you visit while in Door County!

Many years ago, the English Inn introduced me to what fine dining really means. I had the chance to revisit this past weekend and was not disappointed. Service was excellent, as I remembered. Filet mignon was almost fork tender, perfectly done and delicious. Their spinach salad with Door County Cherry bacon dressing was fabulous. (I wish I had bought a jar of the dressing, which they have for sale. Unfortunately, I was too full for dessert. I guess that means I'll have to go back.

I had the ribeye with augratin potatoes and the cherry spinach salad. The salad came with a bacon dressing which was the right combination of salty and sweet. The potatoes had a lot of cheddar on top which was perfect. The more cheese the better. The steak was perfect medium rare. All around great meal.

One of the nicest meals I’ve had in a long time and in my top 10 of all time. The food was wonderful. The cherry salad with cherry bacon dressing was wonderful, and the mushroom ravioli in white sauce was delicious too. Crab cakes were awesome. Yummy bread. Atmosphere is charming, restrooms were clean, bar area (with casino games if you’re into that) was lovely too. Our server Corinne was perfect. Polite, knowledgeable, attentive… but not over the top. Amazing experience.
