Really great sandwich! I made my friend who isn’t GF share with me and he really liked it to so you know it’s good!

100% GF celiac safe spot that allows you to be like the other people on the streets eating the classic round sandwiches. They also have a GF version of the famous schiacciata (Tuscan bread) and Coccoli (Tuscan GF fried dough with savory toppings)! They are great for dairy free too! Anything that has a 7 next to it, which means it contains latte (milk) and cheese can easily be omitted from the sandwiches. Sadly, there is no GF/DF dessert option, but who wants dessert when you’re in gelato land?! It’s in a great location too it’s close to the Uffizi gallery and Palazzo Vecchio, and perfect to stop at if you’re headed from there to the Basilica of Santa Croce or vice versa! Tip: there is a quick stop window where you can order sandwiches to go, but right around the corner they also have an indoor and outdoor sit down area with an expanded menu to include salads, focaccias, desserts, etc.

We tried the schiacciata (gorgolona, dellartista and toscana.) the brot is delicious and the portions are very large. when we visited, the waiting period for the take was about 20 minutes.

We came on the New Year's Day and there was a long wait. I ordered that lasted about 25 30 minutes. I had no idea what to order — and ended on order i coccilo verdure con stracciatella, the little fried eggs of tasty teig, with zucchini and auberginen and wonderful cheese. I thought it would be more calzone like, but it wasn't, there were little kisses that they could eat next to the sweet and cheese. delicious! it was definitely fried, which is usually not my ding, but since I can rarely have it, it was a tasty bite. gluten-free. can not wait to try other things in the menu!
