Make sure to get the Florentine steak. It was the best steak I ever had. It’s big enough for 2 people. You can tell everything is fresh and homemade. The bread is also one of the best bread I had. The staff who I assume are the owners are super nice and welcoming. The chef even checked in on us a few times to make sure we are enjoying our meal. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Florence.

We popped in a bit randomly for lunch, as the kids dragged us out of the centre of Florence to a Manga shop. An inconspicuous place, a small garden hidden behind a corridor and the owners were so friendly. Everything we ordered was brilliant gnocchi, pizza, beef stew, wine and what deserves separate praise. A huge (1.7kg Bistecca alla Fiorentina. Brilliant. Antonio told us that it is one of the few restaurants that is allowed to fire wood in the oven through which the meat gets an extra, fantastic flavour. After eating we had a fantastic time chatting and left as satisfied as possible. A feast worth any money, a must try. Greetings from Poland :
