Larix Cucina Toscana - Firenze

We were recommended this restaurant by our B&B in a quiet neighborhood across the river and outside of the tourist zone and it was a definite find. Modern decor, friendly waitress and amazing food. We were greeted with Prosecco and after interpreting the English translated menu, were rewarded with the most incredible pasta with truffles and florentine steak we’ve ever had. Tasty roasted zucchini and eggplant were a perfect accompaniment. Fabulous house wine and then a treat of limoncello to finish. We will keep this place as a repeat the next time we’re back.

A gem in Florence. Beautiful restaurant. Nice staff. Service was great. Warm welcome with a Prosecco. The food is really marvellous and with good care made.

A new hidden gem they opened in June 2020 apparently and absolutely worth a lovely 15mn walk along the Arno river from the historical center. I had a beautifully presented beef carpaccio with burrata, as well as taglioni with truffle; both dishes were excellent and reasonably priced. I also want to mention the very good service special thanks to the waiter who went through the trouble of answering all the questions I had on the menu!

Perfect evening Larix cucine. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.The waiter was very helpful, he translated the whole menu in English for us. He recommended the best dishes in the restaurant and he was right, it was delicious. We recieved both a glass Prosecco and Italian Limoncello for free! If we come back in Florence, definitely we come back to this restaurant.

Excellent Tuscan cuisine, sophisticated ambience and friendly staff. Great new hot spot in Florence.
