Gelateria Yogurteria - Firenze

A sweet theft dressed in a cone and filled with ordinary gelato. The main characters, gelatai with doubtful manners whose main claim to fame is to ability to rip off gullible tourists.

30€ for 2 ice-creams (one cone and another in a small cup). Prices are nowhere visible. No receipt given either. This has to be the most expensive ice-cream in Italy! Ice-cream: not bad,” but nothing special. I’ve had much much better ..it is certainly not worth the 30€. Staff: arrogant, not nice at all. They just want to make easy money. AVOID this place!

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Paid 22 euros for a horrible 2 scoops cone and horrible granita. Just sugar and water. It was that horrible that I put it in the bin. Cherry on the cake… terrible service… the boy serving us was super rude!!!! And we need to give them 1 star????

I would give 0 stars if I could. They deliberately hide the prices of the gelato. I should have asked before ordering but assumed it wouldn’t cost more than 10euro. I got charged 12euro $20 Aud) for 2 scoops which was quite sub par. I ended up throwing away the cone as it was leaking and tasted awful. Absolute tourist trap and a scam don’t bother going here when there are better quality gelatos around Florence where they charge 3 4euro for 3 scoops. This place leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Avoid! Absolute scam artists! Try charging €15+ for terrible product that you didn’t ask for, and then get aggressive and intimidating when you refuse to pay. Authorities ought to do something, as reviews here and elsewhere suggest they do this to everyone. Shame on these people.
