Tapas - Figueira da Foz

This is just outside the marina and its very well run with good service. The prawns we sweet and juice, but the bacalao was very good and well prepared.

Very good dinner. Prawns, bread, cheese for starters. Chicken curry for second round of starters. Grilled octopussy (excellent) Average selection of wines, we had verde , white and red. Excellent desserts. Lot 's of food good quality. Price/quality good.

Het eten was heerlijk. Superse vis, van octopus tot zeebaars! met een wereldbeeld van de oceaan! Maar piekeren!

Could not recommend this place! We arrived not planning to eat but as we saw the dishes coming out and after a long day on the water we decided to order. We were presented with starters which we didn’t order but thankfully after asking we were told the price (expensive). The only vegetation option was a cheese omelette and we enquiried if they could add some vegetables but were told no despite plates of veg coming with other main courses! The veal stroganoff main was good but as soon as our dishes were nearing empty our waiter was hovering annoyingly to clear the table. We were charged E1.20 for a small butter pack to go with the bread E2.20. Don’t know if the olives were counted but I guess if we had some there would have been a charge for those too. Be careful here or you will end up with a very big bill. Not an enjoyable experience.

This was a return visit for me after about 4 years. It was excellent before and still is. The outside is not inspiring but the interior very nicely done out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and perfectly cooked. None of us could fault it. There was a good selection of wine, and our chosen red excellent. I can only recommend you try this place
