The Terrace - Fife

We went to this restaurant for dinner and even though it was busy, the staff made sure to make us feel like we were the only ones there. The food presentation was incredible and the taste was delicious. It was clear that the chefs put a lot of love into preparing high-quality dishes. I could go on and on about how great it was, but you really should just go check it out for yourself. When the bill came, I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable it was. We will definitely be returning!

My spouse and I celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary at Rufflets, where we enjoyed a meal paid for by friends. The ambiance was fantastic, with attentive and professional staff. Our food was delicious and perfectly cooked. While the dining room was quiet on the Sunday evening we visited, it did not take away from our special occasion. Rufflets is one of the many exceptional restaurants in St Andrews.

Went for Xmas lunch at £125 per head staff and management poor no wine list offered ask and ordered drinks before starter had to remind them near end of main course they had forgotten no cutlery with cheese course which actually was served warm and runny Want be back

On a later visit for a sandwich and coffee, we found the hotel to be nearly empty. Our orders of a prawn cocktail and an Artizan bread platter were lackluster, with small portions and underwhelming presentation. The scones were dry and bite-sized. Despite the nice ambiance of the venue grounds, it was clear that improvements were needed, especially in pricing and menu options. In the future, we may opt to visit The Links in St Andrews instead.

Absolutely fantastic food, lovely room (twin beds! , big, modern bath. Wonderful service-highly recommended! Garden and terrace were nice.
