The 19th Hole - Fife

I would not recommend this restaurant. The waiting staff showed no interest, were a bit untidy with dirty shoes, and seemed more interested in chatting with locals. The food was basic, the atmosphere was noisy with a loud t.v., and there was no ambience.

This restaurant isn't anything special. It's decent, but not worth the price. The food and service don't offer great value. During our first visit, one of our group ordered an apple dessert that turned out to be flat, tasteless, and appeared to have uncooked pastry with a lack of apples. We sent it back for £9, only to find out that the chef had already left for the day. We decided to give the place another chance, and it was slightly better. The staff isn't very friendly, and the food is too expensive for its quality.

We had dinner at the 19th restaurant with friends one night, and just the two of us another night, and both experiences were excellent. The pub grub was fantastic, with the fish and chips being a standout dish. The curries were deliciously prepared, and there were plenty of tasty vegetarian options available. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, even arranging a table in the bar area that was easy for me to wheel my wheelchair into.

Four adults on a Saturday night made reservation for evening meal. Both pub and restaurant were very busy on arrival, but we were seated promptly with a friendly greeting. Large choice on menu for all tastes with good Scottish fare all across the selections. Menu can be a bit confusing with all the different sections named after golfing terms, but all four of us managed to find starters and main courses that we were going for. Overall, excellent meal, service and very reasonable priced. We are local so will be visiting again!

Nice place located on a scenic area. Watch out if ordered steak as no price on menu, paid £30 for a sirloin I would say was not worth the money. Food was good and staff helpful.
