Cantina De Ferrel

Cantina is a true institution in this area and it never ceases to amaze me! Phenomenal food, excellent service, and the most cozy and intimate of settings has me a loyal customer for beyond 5 years. I went a few nights ago and had 2 pizzas (Cantina Diavola), the carbonara, asparagus risotto, and a pannacotta to top it all off! Each dish was so perfect and our service was the most friendly and efficient. I can’t wait to come back! Brigado!

Very friendly staff. Nice menu: salads, pasta, pizzas and risotto. We had our pizza in less than 5 minutes. I was surprised how fast because at the other pizzeria it took at least 20 minutes or more. You can sit and have dinner at a table. The only negative point, for me, is that the pizzas are too thin. It’s more a cracker than a pizza. It’s personal, but I like my pizzas thicker. Because it is so thin, the burrata doesn’t melt as it should be.

Food was all perfect, nice atmosphere, clean place and friendly staff! Everything is freshly made and the pizza’s were among the better ones I’ve tasted. We got 3 courses and a few drinks for approx. 25 pp.

Unfortunately the food was without any taste and the presentation of the food was poor. We also had to wait more than one hour for our main dish. Only possible to choose between pasta and Pizza, no Fish or other Italian food offered. Way to expensive for what you get. Service was good though.

Very busy restaurant BOOK TABLE in advance (though has a communal table with a few places). Pasta was ok, not amazing for the prices. Pizza was nice but it is very thin crust, not true Italian style. Burrata was too firm, maybe supermarket style. Service can be mixed as it gets very busy. Only open for dinner.
