From the very undistinguished parking lot facing the back of a nondescript brick building, the sign is not immediately noticeable. Don’t let that deter you. Your impression will change radically once inside.
The amuse bouche was a flavorful mushroom ravioli and a great hint at the fabulous crab encrusted grouper we ordered for our main dish. Do not skip dessert! They have an amazing pastry chef. The tiramisu was as beautiful as it was delicious. First rate staff was very professional and knowledgable. Lovely dinner!
The Verandah is an excellent restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff are very attentive. I would totally recommend it.
The food was horrible and inedible. The service was great. But that was the only thing. The food was very low quality and extremely overpriced. They need a whole menu revamp and better cooking techniques. We will never go back. I would not advise anyone to eat here.
Lots of hospitality but subpar food. Cocktails were acceptable. Salad was drenched in dressing and cheese. Very overpowering. Bread was called focaccia but it was stale. Grouper was served over cold mash and boring carrots. The fish was full of cream and cheesy substance that was kind of gross. Risotto was over salted, served cold and had to be reheated. Scallops were over buttered. Desert was comped like they were listening to our displeasure. It was uninspired. Service was very nice. Our server was attentive and wanted to make things right but we understand that he has no control over the kitchen.
