Salty Pelican Grill - Fernandina Beach

Expect a wait to be seated most days. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait for seating upstairs on the ledge. It was evening, so the sun was beating on us, but the food and drinks came pretty timely.

It's a home run Old school steak pepper mushrooms cheese sub. NY style ? This will be one of our frequent favorites On my second trip I had to clear the dead flys off my table I got to tell you I've never seen such a dirty unattended area for restaurants as I've found here on ameila Island. I wish their health department would post a score card, like they do in Jacksonville.

July, August 2024 Haven't visited SP in a while. Wife and I went 7/26 for our anniversary (55 yrs). We had forgotten how great the Salty Pelican was and is. I had the Seafood Pot Pie. Unbelievably delicious and favorable. We returned a few week layer too again enjoy this Fernandina gem.

Really good food and even better service. Make sure to try the Seafood flatbread with cauliflower crust and the Sunset Punch. Be prepared for a wait but it’s worth it!
