I highly recommend the Kinoko Spaghetti, the best way to describe it is creamy pasta with ramen flavours. I wasn't a fan of the chips but my boyfriend really liked them. There was an interesting drink called smoked cola which tasted like sparkling water with cola flavour. The staff were friendly they even brought food to our table even though it was in a food court setting and we were waiting for our number! The servings were good. ⠀<br/ ⠀<br/ The Exchange in @darlingsquare it's a casual lunch or dinner spot. You'll have great options for dessert nearby <br/ <br/ Follow my foodie adventures on instagram @hungriestsam
This is one of the new food outlets Darling Square and they offer a range of Japanese flavoured pastas. My favourite so far is the mentaiko pasta which was really nice in terms of the sauce. The pasta itself was also quite good. The naporitan spaghetti was okay for me. The karaage chicken was really good as well. The cost does add up with the extra add ons like an onsen egg but it’s still a good place for takeaway lunch.
I was intrigued to try this place the moment I saw it and thankfully it did not disappoint! <br/ <br/ I ordered both the naporitan spaghetti and the miso fettuccine. The naporitan spaghetti is full of delicious tomato sauce with fresh tomato and what tastes to be like a Japanese style ketchup which I found really nice! There is also perfectly cooked spaghetti, parmesan cheese and nori to top it off! The miso fettuccine was full of delicious beef in a tomato miso base sauce. My favourite would of had to have been the naporitan spaghetti and I highly recommend it to all first timers. There are also plenty of Japanese sides as well as drinks and a dessert to choose from. <br/ <br/ The staff is super friendly and helpful and have a big smile on their face which is a plus. It is a quite nice area to sit especially at night as there is a few beautiful light decorations around. Perfect to go with a friend or a small group.
Japanese Italian fusion that serves freshly made pasta with Japanese flavours. Pasta itself is ok, the sauce is the star as it has a nice and tantalising flavour and makes the food intriguing. Wasn’t overly busy but the food took longer than expected to be ready. Only real gripe is having to pay $2 extra for Parmesan cheese which is usually available on the table for self serve at pasta restaurants!
