Penn Station East Coast Subs - Fenton

How is it that you close at 9:20 when your hours state that you close at 10 pm? Literally parked to walk to the door and the employee locked the door. Funny thing is I know he saw me walking to the door and walked away. Definitely wouldn't spend any money with a business that operates like this. Obviously every experience is different but this really rubbed me the wrong way. Take from this review whatever you would like. What's sad is that I was looking forward to trying the food as the reviews made it appear worthwhile.

The staff at this penn are some of the nicest people.

The blonde manager lady (mentioned in other reviews) is absolutely horrific to her employees. She stands there and berates them and talks to them like they are trash. It was shocking and made me never ever want to go back. My heart broke for the poor cashier employee she was verbally abusing.

Reliably good food. I often forget about Penn as an option due to it's location, always a treat when I remember to go there. The only thing I'm not crazy about is eating out of a small paper lined basket, especially with some open face foods. Sometimes I want to cut and eat with a fork which would work better out of a plate or box.
