The George - Fenland

This restaurant is now under new management and the two brothers who run it are excellent. They made us feel very welcome and we had a wonderful night on their opening night. We will definitely be coming back regularly. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

There is no point in listing opening times on the website when the restaurant is closed during the supposed opening hours. After a long walk, it would have been nice to enjoy a drink and meal, but unfortunately, that was not possible. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 1.

The restaurant is very pleasant, with excellent service.

Stayed one night here as we were working away, very run down, no telly in the room and my blinds looked like they'd come from a squat definitely would not recommend staying here

Only stopped off for a quick drink whilst on a walk with the dogs. Stayed in the beer garden which seemed OK but was full of old pallets. The outside bar looked very rundown and the whole place looked quite neglected. I can't comment on the food, if they did it, but my husband said the lady behind the bar was friendly enough.
