I am not taking off this rule and the one above on my list is lahori karahi in hounslow. a lot to my lament (but probably best for the waist), the location of my favorite curry house in london is not exactly local for me. I live in the southwest londons and this place is in the western londons until it is on the edge between london and middlesex. do not let this go – despite its location, the hounslow east station is easy to reach from the tube on the piccadilly line and is just a short walk from the restaurant. the reason why I know about this place is because it is local for some matt family and due to its proximity and excellent eating, is often the preferred choice for a good old fashion family to come together. I have visited a handful of time with the in place and business, with the last that this trip down to our hearts content for a family dinner and a visit in a new born member of the clan. if it had not been for these reasons, I would probably never have met it because it is a bit out of the way and therefore I am here to tell them that this place exists. By the way, there is a device of the same name (but not connected) in tooting about 10 minutes after the road from where I live, which many rave reviews get online. it appeared in an article in the guardian explained it as one of the five top curry houses in london (written by niamh shields – one of the most successful food bloggers Great Britain) and niamh himself has written a whole blog entry about his size. in a fruitful attempt to try to replicate the aromen and the full blown pleasure of hounslow lahori karahi in a place that was closer to my home, matte and I tried this local tooting one out of an evening. I was expecting great things – I expected it to be such a narrow lip as the one in hounslow. but it wasn't. it really wasn't. While it almost coincided under its own weight of the clientel (it was a Friday night – we could certainly have chosen every other day), some of which were clearly regular, eating was not on cratzer. best was just a “good” curry house. worse, it was completely disappointing. the chiffren were over acceptable and measly carved in their offer of meat; the dansak had hardly any lenses; the bhajis were unfamiliar and sad looking round dinge – almost unrecognisable as zwiebelbhaji. I expressed my disappointment about eating after niamh directly over twitter and informed them about the hounslow alternative – she said she had never heard of it. I have brought this into his not central proximity. So lahori karahi in hounslow. Why is it so damn good? it is difficult to put a finger on it exactly, especially when there will be so many other very good curry houses out there that it must compete with. but there are certainly a series of components that together in my eyes create a offer that is more than worthy than the usual stint on public transport to achieve it. first: consistency. sensational tasting curries to have everything is good and good. but if the small extras on the table like their poppadome, naans, chutneys and raita are bought as mediocre as a super market, then this is not the sign of a big curry house. lahori karahi is on the upper form with everything it sets before them. I'm not even so much of a poppadom fan, but the ones from here were top notch. wonderfully fresh, hearty and with the seeds of spices incorporated into the teig. in the guide fiery house made chili sauce followed by a quick cooling from the rita with garlic and cumin seeds, it delivered more than in its destination to get the appetit for the joys. while the consistency in quality is important throughout the range of services, it is equally important to maintain consistency in the course of time. I want to eat great food every time I visit, and this place is not disappointed. the other differentiator of this lahori karahi to any other cur home I have visited are the lamming aprons. Look at the shoulders at each table, and I will get good money on almost everyone with a plate (usually just a buck of fully striped bones - these disappear in the flash of an eye despite the dazzling temperature at which they are served) this pretty impeccable fleshy mortal. it is one of the things for which the joint is famous and if it was the only thing they have served, we would still go out of our way to visit. when they go into the facility, they immediately notice the numerous metal containers in the refrigerator, where the raw aprons in their secret curry paste marinate the perfection – think of all their favorites from the Indian subcontinent and they are probably there. I suspect that they have taken this either every morning or in the night before – either how they can taste that they have taken this palate punching taste for an optimal time, with the end result really delicious and juicy meat on the bone. with wobbles bhajis are ubiquitous participants at the table of each curry house and another good display of the standard expected from the rest of the meal, these must be quite special to me excited about what is coming and as bhajis go, these were delicious. a very light scattering and without moisture spot in their coating – their fresh Indians, which only emerge from the frittier. matte mother does not deviate from her favorite cure on the menu – butter chicken. and if you have a good thing, why you should. I decided to try it, previously ordered biryanis or something based on a medium heat and lamb. and, well, this was the type of curry that even forces the most common of the agnostic to raise their hands in the application of maybe there is a gott. unnecessary to say this was excellent and has the top spot of the best curry I've ever tasted nabbed. let's see how long it can keep it. It's worth seeing something here that would probably lead to a rejection if I didn't mention it, and too right. if they happen to know someone with roots from the Indian subcontinent (these are the modern countries indiens, sri lankas, pakistans and bangladeschs and I know some of them), they will be the first to tell them that the curries they find in curry houses in Great Britain would find nothing like the curries that are cooked in their homes. they are probably more likely to find bark meat grilling on a spear in india than they would be a pasanda, phaal, rogan josh or vindaloo. Almost all entries on a standard menu of a British curry house are dishes that are special for the local (non-Asian) palate and while they can be very good, they are not really authentic. authentic foods from the Indian subcontinent are high-regional, there are no five curries that represent, for example, india. but as Curry Houses go, this is a great one and I recommend a visit. but if they want a true taste of the Indian subcontinent, then I suggest that they begin to make some friends and be invited to dinner, or begin to plan a gastronomic journey of a life to their way through what these aims have to offer. I did it well with the former. to work on the latter.
The Feltham branch is the more authentic spicy experience, compared to hounslow. large eating and the limited vegan options are worth it for the spice fan! do not expect a polished service.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I love how their customer service is always excellent and they keep the place clean at all times. Pricing is fair and they serve generous portions.
