Melody Boba House - Federal Way

My friends and I were in the neighborhood and craving bubble tea and bubble waffles, so we decided to stop by in the early evening. The restaurant wasn't too busy, but there were a few people in front of us. We had to order from a kiosk machine and wait in line for our items. I usually go for Jasmine Milk Tea with boba, less ice, and 30% sugar, but they only had a 25% sugar option, so I went with that. I also ordered a regular bubble waffle without any toppings. My friends ordered different drinks and bubble waffles too. Our orders didn't take too long, about 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately, the Jasmine Milk Tea was disappointing. It lacked the Jasmine tea flavor, and the boba was mushy and overcooked, making me think they had been sitting out for a while. There was also hardly any ice, despite my request for less. It was just okay at best. But the bubble waffle was even worse. It was cold and mostly air - half empty, with the dough not being chewy at all. It was a huge letdown and felt like a waste of money. The bubble waffles and drinks my friends ordered were also subpar. I couldn't understand how a business could maintain itself with such poor quality. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and puts more effort into improving the food and drinks. Unfortunately, they have lost four customers today.

I visited this restaurant on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, they were out of the items I wanted to order, so I didn't end up getting anything else. The second time I visited, they didn't have any good drinks or dessert options available. The staff didn't seem to know much about their menu, so I'm not sure if I'll return in the future. Overall, I can't recommend this place.

Great service, cute cafe vibe. At night it gets pretty loud with teenagers. Waffles are good, fresh and huge. My fave drink is the brown sugar milk tea.

Great place to grab a fun snack or bubble tea and hang out. Beautiful decor, very clean space. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ordering was easy with the screen and I appreciated all the customization available!

Went in because we saw it was popular. Service was very kind and patient, and time to be served wasn’t bad. Ice cream was awesome, but the bubble waffle itself was average. This is a dessert style boba place, so be prepared for very sweet drinks and food.It was very noisy (music people) and bright even at 9pm. Not my style, but maybe yours? Seems like a good place to hang out in groups.King County H FS has given it an excellent rating, so I am unsure why other people are accusing it of being dirty.
