While the decor could use a little updating and the flooring could be refreshed, I understand how challenging it can be for small-town diners, especially in a community of only 1,300 residents. The restaurant is situated in a historic building, which adds to the charm of the small-town diner experience. The waitress who served us was attentive and knowledgeable about the local area. Additionally, I noticed that the women's restroom was very clean, which is always a plus. If you're craving a hearty country breakfast, I highly recommend this restaurant!

I decided to try the buffet without checking it out first, and that turned out to be a mistake. When I arrived at 5:45, the buffet was mostly empty, with very few items left, and they didn’t replenish it at all during my visit. A lot of the food looked quite unappetizing. The small piece of roast I managed to find in the pool of juices tasted decent, but it was a bit dry. Considering the price, I'm really disappointed. The buffet was expensive and poorly stocked. My nephew ordered macaroni and cheese, which looked like it had been previously cooked and then just reheated in the microwave. Overall, I’m not impressed. If you’re going to offer a buffet, it really needs to be kept well-stocked.
