Peixe Assado Naninhas - Faro

On the edge of the city, almost without walls, except for the grill and the immense chimney, with natural ventilation and shade, there is a place to eat grilled fish: Naninhas, by its name. From Ria Formosa and neighboring waters flows directly to the grill a variety of fish that make this place a place that everyone who likes fish should not miss. In addition to the quality and diversity of the fish, the potatoes cooked with skin, the “xarém” with the right texture and flavor, the tomato salad with onion, seasoned with oregano, the mastery of who is in charge of the grill through which they pass, continuously,” safias” “mucharras”, mackerel and many, many other local species, before they reach the table. All these with friendliness, efficiency and description of the people who work there. Having said that, it`s case to say: a place like this is beautiful.

This is food diamont in Faro. Fanily restaurant, a little bit further from cnetre, but it' s worth it. We found it by mistake. Menu for one person costs 12€, we had 3, but couldnt finish it. Different kinds of fish (two plates of them!! salad from local tasty tomatoes, potatoes, bread and sangria included. Plus local dessert we all three shared, because we were so full.
